Galatea was the most frustrating interactive fiction I tried. I was not able to move away
from the statue that seemed to come off as haughty or flippant and, therefore, I had less commands to work with. I looked at and touched everything around
the room that I could think of. I realized that I should talk to the statue about its life, childhood,
and creator. I also learned she was in love with someone, but I became very bored with just
talking to her. Alex soon reached an end and, because I had been playing for more than 15
minutes, I changed games to
Lost Pig.

Galatea was different than the other games I played. At first I tried to leave.
I then realized that I could not move away from Galatea. All interaction in the game took
place with her. I had actually found an end to the game after about twenty minutes of
playing. I was not intrigued by "talking" with Galatea or by her story. I found questions
difficult to come by, and yet my conversation with her was still ended fairly quickly.
